Machu Picchu : fascinating city of the ancient Inca civilization

 Machu Picchu is a holy city of the Incas, located at 2350 meters above sea level in the eastern Andes of Peru.

Machu Picchu means "old tops", has an area of 32,500 hectares, and it is assumed that this town was built around 1300, and it was made as a property of the emperor, or religious retreat, and some still claim that it was a secret ceremonial city .

Machu Picchu in 1983 was included in the list of World Heritage Sites in the United States, and in 2007 was chosen and placed on the list of "Seven New Wonders of the World", where there are still some fascinating buildings such as the Great Wall of China, the Coloseum in Italy, Taj Mahal, etc.
